That is, indeed the worst fight scene ever. It went on forever, that fight too. I remember watching it and changing channels for about 5 minutes and turning back and the horrible non-flexible lizard costume man was still having a horrible fight with Kirk. An excellent find.

My guess would be that the original was speeded up. And someone slowed it down to the speed it was shot in. If not early star trek sucked worse than i thought.

It looks original, although I have some doubts with the sound. I specially like when he throws that "heavy" rock and it bounces 3 times on the ground. Not so heavy, heh? :-D

I remember watching this when it first aired, then again on re-runs. Looks the same as I remember. The idea of a fast human vs. a slow but powerful humanoid is workable but suffers from low budget effects.
