Having raised orphan squirrels - this just looks a lot like he's enjoying the heat from the pavement. I had one that used to flatten out similarly on the windowsill after a sunny day.

This is indeed a <img src="fake.gif" alt="fake">y <img src="fake.gif" alt="fake">y title. Rather than playing dead, at first sight I guessed he was just enjoying the heat from the pavement. So listen to Safyre42 who's actually had squirrels instead of excited ignorants who think they have "captured something amazing". The stupidity disappoints me.
