It's old, i know. But a must-have in the collection ;)
 Dantalion  -  June 7, 2006, 20:37
Very very very old... but it is amazing.
 Jon  -  June 7, 2006, 21:32
Amazing, did he acually go at that pace, or did they fastworward it?
Ry (guest)  -  June 8, 2006, 02:10
I was thinking it was fast forward too, but the backgrounds on the game seem to be at a regular speed. I'd love to know for sure if it is real speed.
 navysealltblue  -  June 8, 2006, 04:35
haha well i have seen people play that fast before... but of course... taht was on a graphing calculator in chemisty AP class ^_^ very interesting to see... but personally I think watching 5 mins straight of Tetris action... without playing myself ... is a little boring ^_~
Vandroiy (guest)  -  June 8, 2006, 09:47
I don't know ... go to second 56, there is a hole, which he fills with an L-piece. How can he drop an L-piece into there, since there is no room to rotate/fit it into?
Jocke (guest)  -  June 8, 2006, 11:14
Agree! A bit boring!
Eric (guest)  -  June 8, 2006, 11:29
Yeah, either that is a weird different coded tetris, or else something about that video must be wrong.
REAL (guest)  -  June 8, 2006, 20:58
its real listen to the music and look at the background and his hands... VERY COOL!
dev (guest)  -  June 8, 2006, 22:14
Of course it's fastforwarded.
 Dantalion  -  June 9, 2006, 11:39
How do you know?
bogus (guest)  -  June 10, 2006, 00:32
bogus, look at 2:27. How does that red row being dropped cause the adjacent rows which are green to disappear?

Totally fake, but still cool, like many things.
sdrawkcab (guest)  -  June 11, 2006, 04:02
Uhm, the colors have nothing to do in this game. It's not fake people, he's just really good. You can clearly see how sometimes he makes mistakes just 'cuz it's so damned fast. It's not like it's impossible, it's just not easy. He's probably really really REAAAAALLY experienced.
andrej (guest)  -  June 11, 2006, 12:37
It's fastforwarded.. You can see that on the movement of the hands.. they are way to jerky. Very obvious. It's probably not speeded up that much, but certainly a little bit.
sol (guest)  -  June 12, 2006, 07:33
Hes just played it on normal speed and had the video speeded up.
OGrilla (guest)  -  June 13, 2006, 09:45
People really can move that fast and it is because the movements are jerky that you can tell. There are a lot of moments where he messes up and almost loses and then manages a lucky comeback. If you think this is fastforwarded, you obviously haven't seen pro speedplayers at work.
yo yo yo (guest)  -  June 14, 2006, 04:15
it is strange it always says 2:27 the entire video! explain that?
Killa (guest)  -  June 14, 2006, 23:16
the video isn't speeded up. the hands aren't jerky at all. you must have been looking at his fingers only, but look at his arm. if his fingers are speeded up then who ever did it was a pro. his fingers are moving fast but if it's speeded up then the rest of the arm would seem to hold still because it would be to fast to see. just because you can't do it, that doesn't mean others can't too. there are far more incredible things people do, but others seem to believe that just at a single glance. no.... this is real. it's just that that guy (or girl) spends >12 hours a day at that game
MR. Love  -  June 17, 2006, 17:26
i can do that :D
MR. Love  -  June 17, 2006, 17:27
good computer :)
Maz (guest)  -  June 19, 2006, 08:25
I say its not bogus, fingers sure seem jerky but thats simply because pretty much anybody can move his fingers faster than low fps can capture. Check the video on full size and look the wrists more, they sure arent moving quite fast but a regular speed. "bogus, look at 2:27. How does that red row being dropped cause the adjacent rows which are green to disappear?" - You really have no idea what tetris is, right? - and "it is strange it always says 2:27 the entire video! explain that?" - what the hell are you talking about? - "...go to second 56, there is a hole..." Again, play tetris and you'll see that is quite easy to do, all pieces need one 'turn' to stick to the ground and during that time they can be moved and maneuvered, so simply lowering the L-piece on the ground level and 'rotating' it does the trick. There is no actual rotation going on but it simply changes into next form.

he isnt that good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJv2vLZ0hE4

I would sooner call this video "the fingermuscle overkiller" or something. Gotta say im impressed though, beeing how Homer could beat me in tetris:P
not hard (guest)  -  July 6, 2006, 23:58
ive done this a couple of times, it requires like super hand/eye coordination and sometimes just pure luck, cuz note how sometimes, he drags the pieces over the others, thats like mega luck when u is playin that speed. I play like that but then again, i only play tetris when i is super freakin bored.
GARYsurvivor (guest)  -  July 9, 2006, 11:30
People need to trust videos more often. People are usually way too lazy to make fake things. Come on it's human nature. It is one of those interesting Tetris versions where correctly timed rotations can fit pieces into places that they normally wouldn't fit. People can get good at anything, so stop saying "Oh it's sped up!" to every single video that features something that you wouldn't have the skill to do. Appreciate the video instead of questioning it.
