Juhgu - June 4, 2006, 22:20
Wow. Jumping out of the cars :D
Don't they practise driving on icy roads when they get their licenses? They definitely should.
navysealltblue - June 5, 2006, 02:20

Swede2 (guest) - June 5, 2006, 07:26

powers (guest) - June 5, 2006, 21:32
and how about those european roads and nuclear plants last year that couldnt take the cold because of how bad it was? i would think you guys would understand that sometimes inclimate weather can become extreme in places that aren't used to it.
winterdriver (guest) - June 5, 2006, 23:24
Fine, if they get snow every 10 years not having skills to drive on slippery roads is fine but why they drive in the first place if they know that it's not going to work?
I don't even try to do surgery because I'm smart enough not to try.
the real viking (guest) - June 6, 2006, 10:52
wha the fuck are they jumping out of the cars??
powers (guest) - June 6, 2006, 16:49
its amazing the black/white understanding people on this board have. weather can be quite decieving. if you notice, its not that bad. this storm is probably new and not days old. they maybe just trying to get home. maybe they were already out in it. maybe they are dumb, and the other 99% of the population ARE at home. tell me where you are from and i'm sure i can find some dandy stories of idiots that do or do not represent you personally.
in some hot arrid places that don't get rain, the car runoff builds up in the asphalt. when rain does come in the rare circumstances, it floats on top of the oily asphalt for a little bit till the water can get rid of the oil. so in those minutes or even an hour or so, the roads are all extremely slippery, way more then in much worse conditions. now, you seem to know everything about winter driving, but why would you know that unless you were from a place like that? you drive everyday, why would you drive on a day with just a little sprinkle of rain when its so dangerous? these people arne't doing surgery or flying to mars, they are doing what they do everyday and a small variable has changed.
as far as getting out of their cars: ya, their idiots. darwin candidates.
InkaRds (guest) - June 7, 2006, 00:50
That is why I live in sunny Arizona!!
Another Swede... (guest) - June 7, 2006, 08:01

Public Service Announcement: Don't jump out of a moving vehicle, folks. The moose out front should've told you. If I'm ever given a chance between whiplash and getting squished like grape, I'll sign up for whiplash, thank you very much. Stay in the car, kids.
Someone (guest) - July 10, 2006, 23:14
It must have been so cool to jump out a moving vehicle! (Even if there was no point in doing it)
Kortisoni - July 13, 2006, 04:27

Dave (guest) - July 22, 2006, 04:50
F-A-K-E!!! ITZ COMPUTER GENERATED
Killa (guest) - July 26, 2006, 17:39
first of, where do you see in this movie? second, the first sliding car had tyres on that are not recommended for such roads (didn't change to winter tyres) wich leads us to think that it's the first 3 days the road is like that (no more, otherwise those drivers are plain stupid) and third, i've seen loads of things like that happen in america, try finding something of that scale in Lithuania :P
Serveck (guest) - August 2, 2006, 05:41
wow.. thesse people obviously dont know how to drive on snow.. and its called CHAINS when its icy.

weber - August 26, 2006, 15:16
that second care was ours { we didn't get insured } !
costre (guest) - August 26, 2006, 21:57
maybe they could have tried steering left to avoid acrash and slow down a bit...
Yes, that'll work. Steering when you're wheels are locked and you're skidding down an icy slope sounds easy enough. Get proper tires and proper driver's licenses is a better start.
Deleted0001 - September 2, 2006, 17:26
Crazy!
JACK (guest) - September 5, 2006, 21:25

This Happened in Toronto, Canada, it was on the 6:00 news, it was the first snowfall last year, and as you can see, idiot Torontonians can't drive
chains - November 20, 2006, 09:59
yeah, use chains :D
Serveck (guest) - November 25, 2006, 22:44
you notice all of the cars that crashed were compact or a van with rear or only front wheel drive, if you look in the back there are SUV's and trucks climbing that hill with NO problem, they were idiots to think that their cars can handle the weather. my jeep would have easily been able to stop and/or turn away with winter tires.
Norway (guest) - May 13, 2007, 22:39
Haha! My impression of americans confermed again. Stupid people one after another. First stupid for not preparing their tires for the weather, then stupid for not taking the bus when their car isnt driveable that day anyways, then stupid for not slowing down early enough, then for not using the sidewalk or between the tracks to break, then stupid for breaking to hard. (Locked wheels make a perfect sledge)
Norway (guest) - May 13, 2007, 22:43
Insurance companys doesent have insuranses against stupidity. Or maby they do in america? There is a high demand at least. Paris Hilton would have payd a lot for it.
TKD (guest) - October 29, 2007, 21:53
lol funny as, don't take the piss out of stupid peepl cos without them we would hav nothing 2 laugh at lol
Kris (guest) - December 16, 2008, 04:24
Uh, people, this happened in TORONTO. How about you stop saying that "Americans are stupid" and "Americans can't drive". Firstly, you're an ignorant tool for stereotyping an entire 303 million people. Secondly, this didn't even HAPPEN IN AMERICA. Seriously? Why don't you get your facts straight before you segregate against three hundred million people? Thanks.
Kris (guest) - December 16, 2008, 04:26
Oh, and "Norway", why don't you learn to spell "confirmed" before you start bashing somebody? That would be great. If all Norwegians are this idiotic, please remind me never to take a trek north of England. Ever.
