This has been around for a year or two apparently too. Pretty sweet.

without all the extra power tools
jk  -  March 31, 2006, 09:35
This was awesome. But it's kind of hard to play BF with all the stuff around.
Skoorke (guest)  -  April 2, 2006, 13:08

Stone (guest)  -  April 2, 2006, 14:27
Anyone know the name of the song in this video?
df (guest)  -  April 3, 2006, 02:52
didn't recognize the first one. the second one is "aryx" that comes with modplug tracker, the third one is "love me" by ace cream.
MongoseN (guest)  -  April 5, 2006, 16:16
OMG. this was nice. i tried once whit this to clock it to 3.7! (the motherboard melted;)
youjik (guest)  -  April 6, 2006, 09:34
incredible !!!
Kimozabi (guest)  -  April 9, 2006, 03:18

WTF? lol
xnxkzn (guest)  -  April 17, 2006, 09:52
hiw did he get the liquid nitrogen?
Chalmers-nerd Gothenburg (guest)  -  April 17, 2006, 17:02
The guy is maybe working as a labtech or something like that. May pants get wet and my cook so hard when I see this incredibly nice stuff.
dude (guest)  -  April 20, 2006, 21:26
is there a manual, I WANNA DO THAT TOO!!!! :):)
gerbil and blouse (guest)  -  April 21, 2006, 18:45
dis is lethal
VORTEX_Ro (guest)  -  April 30, 2006, 18:36
yey,now everyone can play with liquid nitrogen, bet can i make a cool drink with that!!
Foss (guest)  -  May 14, 2006, 00:01
@ Stone (guest) : The song is named Aryx and is created by K.Koch. You can find Fasttracker modules and also mp3's using google.
Well-liked assman (guest)  -  May 17, 2006, 19:56
This video sucks ass.Computer nerds suck ass.
Jan (guest)  -  July 5, 2006, 14:51
What was the point of that? Why did they do that? What did they do?
alss (guest)  -  July 9, 2006, 10:24
Yeah....... What??? Some geek mind explaining this?
Otoman (guest)  -  July 10, 2006, 13:29
that's some serious overclocking good work guys. really well done
sdrawkcab (guest)  -  July 11, 2006, 12:34
Uhh?? Ok, I understand that overclocking is a process to increase the efficiency of a computer, but what does liquid nitrogen have to do with it??
SoulMan (guest)  -  July 17, 2006, 07:32
When you overclock, components get hot. The heatsink draws that heat off, but it can only do so much. Putting liquid nitrogen on it makes it much, much colder, allowing you to overclocked to insane speeds and not melt your computer.
blah (guest)  -  July 22, 2006, 07:02
i happen to know they sell liquid nitrogen in my local welding supplies store
Serveck (guest)  -  July 24, 2006, 01:01
this is actually old, 5GHZ is what the high end processors are now at. right now the max is like 7.2 GHZ
Kortisoni  -  July 26, 2006, 16:17
Serveck, bullshit. AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ runs at 2600 MHz, AMD Athlon FX-62 at 2800 MHz and even Intel's new astounding Conroes run below 3000 MHz.
Efreeti  -  August 2, 2006, 14:13
I'd be impressed if someone juiced an Athlon 64 to that. Seriously, Hz is not a measurement of processing power.
Mesinge (guest)  -  August 13, 2006, 12:03
Efreeti, you're absolutely right... but if you lack in CPU speed, everything does slow down :D And besides, it's funny as hell ^^
Deleted0001  -  September 17, 2006, 11:04
Wow! But to Serveck: There isn't normal to have a 5GHZ processor. And 7.2 was made by someone doing the same thing as this guy. The normal right now, is from 3.4-4.0GHZ.
Serveck (guest)  -  October 2, 2006, 03:31
i am speaking in relatives, somone overclocked a core 2 duo to be the equivelent of about 7.2 GHZ it came to like 3.6GHZ x2. for proof go to www.overclock.net
magic 8 (guest)  -  October 27, 2006, 17:28
.... big enough heatsink? and haha a compressor for the chip set lmao... i remember when my friend bought a 80 dollar copper heat sink and pit it on his chipset... little bastard... also lmao think that guy voided all his warrenties im pretty sure applying liquid nitrogen to his computer voids the warrenty... isnt there a limit to how COLD your computer could be?
schumpen (guest)  -  November 10, 2006, 21:44
hehe.. where can i get LN2?? :P, but i guess it's not that practikal.. having to refill all the time :P

....... (guest)  -  April 12, 2007, 01:02
soooo....the idea is that cpu get hot. your cpu comes with a thing that makes it less hot.with that cold stuff mghfcdukhyjdfjkhfiulognlumo;,ih'p,].[i0o'lu'uy';yo;'oy,';oyh(lol bord of typing)
James (guest)  -  June 3, 2008, 03:41
This is a good idea. liquid Nitrogen can be put inside of Heatsinks to cool them down.
Draugovininkas  -  July 8, 2009, 13:44
while it's good as a science project and such, sadly it is absolutely impractical... But Liquid Nytrogen is fun to play around with (we do it all the time at our university...)
burger (guest)  -  March 18, 2010, 17:30
does it run crysis?
