When you have built it, you have to look at it with one eye only (or with both eyes but from a distance), otherwise the illusion doesnt work.

Creepily Good! Once you have the mindset, it works a treat. Even works with both eyes open when used to it, but not as well. I made mine green like the video! Rocking backwards and forwards to get the intial illusion going worked for everyone who has been stunned by lil'drag. :)

Check out the artwork or Patrick Hughes, who uses this technique known as "Reverspective", basically the parts that appear to be closest to us are actually furthest away, hence when we move our brain communicates this to us creating the illusion. I did an end of year art piece using this idea. Very cool indeed.

What you ought to do is to build a bigger version (like 10-15 inches tall) and place it on a bookshelf or the like.
The distance will fool your depth perception, and it will look as it's following you as you walk around the room.

The voice over is REALLY good. Have you considered broadcasting. Sounds a bit like the storyteller on Ivor the Engine. That had dragons too. I thought this was an Ivor dragon at first. Anyway I could listen to that calm voice all evening. Go on the radio!
